Rowling in aid of Comic Relief as a Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them became the inspiration behind a new and original five-film series for Warner Bros., the first of which was released in 2016. The second film in the series, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, was released in November 2018.J.K. Rowling has collaborated with playwright Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany on a stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which opened in London's West End in 2016 and on Broadway in 2018, and will have further worldwide openings in 2019.J.K. Rowling also writes the Cormoran Strike crime novels, under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. The fourth in this series was published in autumn 2018. The Strike books have been adapted for television for BBC and HBO television by Brontë Film & Television. J.K. Rowling is also the author of The Casual Vacancy, a standalone novel for adults, published in 2012.

Die Geschichte um Newt Scamander, den liebenswerten und etwas verpeilten Zoologen, Beschützer und Pfleger von magischen Tierwesen geht in die nächste Runde und hier vorweggenommen, wird erst nach 3 weiteren Drehbüchern enden. Mit der Flucht Grindelwalds nach Europa werden immer mehr bekannte Figuren aus dem Potter-Universum, hier Dumbledore und die Lestrange-Familie, in den Canon der Ereignisse mit einbezogen. Wir erfahren z. B. Hintergründe zu den Biographien einiger Protagonisten aus den Harry-Potter-Romanen u. v. m. alles wieder dicht verwoben zu einer Geschichte um Liebe, Treue und die richtige Entscheidung zu treffen, welchen Weg wählen wir um unsere Ziele zu erreichen. Folgen wir der „Dunkeln Seite“ diesmal durch Grindelwald vertreten oder bleiben wir im Licht, auch wenn es schmerzlich, ungewiss ist und persönliche Opfer, wie den Verlust der Liebe, bedeutet kann oder gar den sicheren Tod.Die Geschichte um Newt und seine Freunde ist spannend, durch manch „possierliches Tierchen“, amüsant bis aufregend und wie alle Geschichten des Potter-Universums hat auch diese ein hohes Suchtpotenial. Newt ist wie Harry ein Held wider Willen, der trotz seiner Verschrobenheit eine sehr genaue Vorstellung von dem hat, was er sein will. Am Ende muß auch er eine Wahl treffen.Ich freue mich schon auf den 3. Teil.
The Book itself is nice and beautiful. I love the Cover with all its details you can only see when you look closer at it.But sadly I have to keep two stars to myself because I've got it with slightly wobbly pages so it has to gotten wet somewhere at the delivery, also there were some staines on the cover but those were removable.The only reason I didn't send the book back to get a new one is that I can live with its flaws.
Kinder hat sich das Buch zum 14. Geburtstag gewünscht, weil es den Film liebt und das Drehbuch im Original lesen möchte. Leider war die Rückseite bei uns vermatscht. Ich hoffe, ich kann das spurlos reinigen, bevor das Buch auf d3m Geburtstagstisch liegt.
Verpackung und Versand einwandfrei.Hat das exakt gleiche Format wie der erste Teil.Über den Inhalt lässt sich streiten. Man muss ein Screenplay mögen um so ein Buch zu schätzen :)
